- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★May 25, 2020, by Dan SwatekImagine my disappointment upon arriving at my local rite aid store (Woodland CA) in search of my favorite black cherry ice cream from the old Thrifty brand, only to find a near empty freezer!!! Overhearing my disgust, George, the store manager made a trip over to me to inform me that there was a new truckload due the next day and he provided me with a two for one rain check. He was obviously extremely busy and the fact that he took the time to rectify the situation left a lasting impression! Thanks George!!!
